 Roses and Castles
A foraged and locally-sourced dish, inspired by traditional canal-boat fare and presented as nouvelle cuisine in Edwardo's Restaurant. Viewed from the side - a stony tower in a thicket; from above - a swirl of rose petals and thorns reminiscent of canal boat art.
The Brewhouse, Taunton 2011 | Wildfire.
Design and print of daily news sheet, in vegetable ink on recycled paper. Editor Belinda Dillon. For Ignite Theatre Festival, Exeter 2013, 2014 | Art/Life Viewer
A business card-sized muiltiple. The card's intended purpose is for viewing Art or Life. The hole is circular, suggesting active framing by the user; and has a Japanese concept on each side, suggesting a state of mind for contemplation. MONO NO AWARE - awareness of the transience of all things heightens appreciation of their beauty, and evokes a gentle sadness at their passing. Exeter and Worldwide 2013 |
